Like Damien says, it doesn't really matter where the location is. You're either up for it or u ain't.
Travelling long distances for a gig is not usually an issue for Stranglers fans afterall, is it

That's a generalisation Barry. Every one draws the lina at some point, don't they? Only a couple travel the length and breadth of the British Isles.

I was thinking along these lines Crass. I think if anything though it would probably move things further north - especially when the strong Scottish 4MH contingent get wind of this.

Importantly, we need to correlate where all those who vow to come, live.
Get yer map out Jim.
All in one venue hotel would be great.

Well said Damian - I`m up for it as long as it`s somewhere within UK. Sometimes it`s nice to get the motor out and have a drive - especially if we`re all crashing overnight somewhere and the weather is good.

Damian wrote:Location? Well I live in Greater London, and to be honest if it isn't south of e.g. St Albans then to me there is no difference in going to Peterboro or Leeds, Crewe Glassgow or whatever.
Lets face it once I get a pass from er indoors it doesn't make a difference if it's 100 miles or 500 miles to travel.
Personaly a good venue and good local acomodation is the factor, as long as it's not in a shithole of an area Im up for anywhere.
Either your up for it or your not. lets not start making things harder for the people who will organise this by getting bogged down with the location.
If need be we can hire a coach for all us southern softies.

Yeah but surely you`d hop on a train or whatever for this one. C`mon I`ve seen 4MH down South a few times.
It`ll be a day away from the wife - she`ll love it !

I don't deny that travelling to Europe can often be cheaper/easier than some places in U.K. :-)
