Most go on about DSOTM but for me Animals can't be beat!

It's my favourite Floyd album. It's such an angry and bitter record, and to my mind the last time they truly sounded like Pink Floyd instead of either The Roger Waters Show or The David Gilmour Show.

At the moment, mostly music released in the last 14 years or so.

Howe Gelb - Weathering some piano.

Digging this at the moment, l dunno much about the guy, but this is another kind of music that l like, but don't usually search out much. I'm enjoying the (kinda) Les Dawson-y piano playing, so can easily imagine that if you played the album, maybe in another room, the sound coming back would be like someone is in there, plinking away on that old piano you dont have.

Wow, that's a name I've not heard in a long time.
He played Guilfest 2002 on the second stage quite far down the bill. I think he was on before Kiki Dee... I was there and he was really good, I was only 15 at the time but he was a genuine guy and clearly very talented. I will have to listen to him again.
Obviously I was there for the Stranglers, the first time I saw them, they headlined the second stage, broke all attendance records, went down a storm and were duly promoted to main stage the following year. The power of the MKIII lineup!

Lou Reed - New York (1989)

Possibly the last bit of vinyl I bought back in the day before its demise.
