Xeon Codex by Hawkwind. In my humble opinion a truly classic Hawkwind line up. Especially with the sadly missed Huw Lloyd Langton on guitar. Saw that line up numerous times in the mid til late 80’s and total experience them gigs where

although I listen to both radio 6 and Caroline at times, neither of them fully tick the boxes.
A few weeks back somebody mentioned another internet station that plays 70s/80s continuously with no ads. But I've forgotten what it was called and can't find the post now..
Please could you post it here if you know it, or no of any other radio stations worth checking out, thanks a lot and happy new year!

Recently discovered Wire (though I knew of them back in the day) - what a superb band. Those first 3 albums are superb- and the rest pretty decent!

I've been overdosing on their 80s stuff recently. "A Bell is a Cup.." and all that. Wonderful stuff. Some of it is very eccentric and rather appeals to me.
