Motörhead.
Missing Mr Lemmy, he was such a character, not many like him in the music industry and it’s all the worse for him leaving the planet. I always loved the interview in Strangled with JJ and didn’t realise until then they were mates, Also recently seen a pic of Lemmy on a Triumph Bonneville and it said it was JJ’s.
I liked that story of JJ fighting at the 1983 Reading Festival and Lemmy was walking up the ramp backstage and said he saw this flurry of fists and boots coming towards him, coming down the ramp and he said he was knocked arse over tit into a ditch.
He asked someone who the Fuck was that? and someone said oh that’s JJ and a Hells Angel.

Mike Batt is also responsible for at least one f*cking awful Katie Melua album. Hawkwind must have been on stronger stuff than usual to agree to work with him...

The White Lies new album Five. I recommend it. It also seems like they've copied the Stranglers by calling their 5th album Five!

You know what I meant! It's a bit lazy really isn't it though. Let's hope the next Stranglers album isn't called 18!
