Another superb gig from The Damned last night In Gloucester.
They just get better and better.

I envy you actually..seems like every gig u go to u find the band awsome & on top form! Wish I could say the same.

I've seen The Damned loads of times over the last three years and yes every one was superb. They certainly show no sign of letting up.
Just wish they could get a new album out as the set has'nt changed a great deal over this time but I'm not complaining.
On this tour(MGE 25) it's mostly stuff from this album but for some reason no Plan 9 Channel 7 which is my all time fave Damned song!
First up was Love Song including the 'Hey man whats happening intro' fookin superb! we also got treated to melody let and Antipope both which I have'nt heard live for a while..
They were about to do New Rose when Captain said he'd played it so many times that he did'nt want to do it so offered the chance to someone in the audience to play guitar so some young lad offered and up he came struggled at first to get the timing etc and Pinch was getting pissed off but finally he got it and it was a great version with Captain doing the vocals while Dave sat from the side and watched.
