Mustn't have been promoted properly. Shocking.jason wrote: 25 May 2026, 11:21No it just missed the number one spot. It got to number 74 or something like that!headiscrowded wrote: 24 May 2026, 04:01He seriously released that as a single?!?!?! Then I am shocked that it was not number 1. Such a dear, sweet song. So far removed from all that mysogynistic stuff from his youth. All about how you can never win with birds, but you can keep on trying and you'll keep on losing. I feel like he learned that with age. Some never do.ThinkTank wrote: 22 May 2026, 06:24 Under her spell was such a great pop song. If he had never released that i would have been saying how he should have released it as that would have been a huge hit for himIts a complete mystery to me why that didn't do better for him.

I guess it's a statement on us (or modern music) that there's very little post 90s in these lists.

^ I like quite a lot of modern stuff that I hear on the radio, not sure I'd say "best ever" and also not sure I can remember what any of them are called or who they're by. I can't narrow stuff down enough to make lists like this.
