What are the gas prices in the UK now? We're over $4/gal

Maybe everyone should just get e bikes.
Presuming that is US Gallons = 3.76 litres

That works out about $1.06 per litre

We are $1.90-$2.00 / litres

You still got it easy !
Oh, give it time! But that is crazy for the UK. Hope some people at least have decent public transport options or are they hiking the prices up for tha also?!?!?

In the UK it's gone up not like massively but I guess 10p-20p extra and to be fair it's rising.

I anyway have to refuel more than once a week and am now refuelling every other day because I am thinking the prices will skyrocket suddenly! But It would not change my opinion of Trump TBH.

I've just picked up on this thread.
I had a 1l Fiesta turbo a couple of years ago.
The plus point was zero road tax.
That was great for a tight bugger like me.
Unfortunately it got nicked and loss of insurance payout and depreciation on the next couple of cars cost me £5k.

That's one of the great things about classic cars. Of course, you've got to be into that kind of thing - if you need something silent and comfortable that you never have to repair then a classic maybe isn't the wisest choice, but there are plenty of sheds around from the 21st century that need a load of work just to keep them going too, and a well-sorted classic shouldn't be significantly less reliable. My mid-80s Audi has just qualified for free road tax and it's a perfectly good daily runabout for the mileage I do.
