Went to see Saxon and Udo Dirkshneider last night in Glasgow and in front of me in the queue were a couple, both with obligatory leather jackets and denim cut offs, yet both had large Stranglers patches on them. Then inside the gig I saw two gentlemen both with Stranglers t-shirts......I was pleasantly surprised.
Plus, the concert ace.
We really went to see Udo sing Balls to the Wall in its entirety..... magic.

I went to Manchester last Friday to see the Boomtown Rats, and there were a lot of Saxon fans on the train on the way home as they'd been in the Apollo. Didn't see any Stranglers patches, though there was a guy walking around the NEC on Saturday at the Classic Car Show wearing a new "51" Raven T-shirt.
