^ I expect that somewhere on a Pretenders forum, they'd be saying the same thing about Stranglers fans, and yet there are plenty doing multiple gigs. The main difference between them is that Pretenders fans pay more for the tickets by the look of it.

The worst gig I have ever been to was a Pretenders concert in Dubai. She was annoyed at audience members using mobile phones and stopped mid-song every time she saw someone trying to film / photograph the concert. The last straw was when she snatched somebody's phone and stamped on it on stage. She was booed off stage after about five songs. Remind you of anyone?

Some interesting choice of language here. In a way, I understand Chrissie's stance on this but I don't necessarily agree with it. While I do think that certain hardcore fans of certain bands can act more than a little entitled and pull the passive-aggressive "I'm a bigger fan than you" routine and spoil things for the casual gig goer, I think Chrissie should be thankful that she has a loyal fanbase that have stuck with her and want to see her at multiple shows. While paying money for multiple shows shouldn't guarantee you a front row position at a gig, if you DO happen to end up in the front row at multiple shows then you shouldn't be taken to task for it.

I'd love to see some of you call Chrissie a "miserable cow" and a "fucking old nag" to her face, though. She seems like a person not shy of showing aggression even after all these years, so I expect she'd punch you in the face.

Stan, I learnt from experience with you that telling people what they think of them results in stoppy behaviour, so whereas you might like to see me call Chrissie a miserable cow, I probably would not, but I would still make the point considering her ticket pricesas well!
