Blondie Piece Hall

Post by Halifax Linda »

Wettest gig I have ever been to
But so good
Dances and sang along all night
Only negatives. When your inside Piece Hall you can’t leave and come back
So over priced bars and food make a killing
We had a beer before going in so not bothered about drinking inside. Then getting caught up in queue for dreaded port a loo!!!!
Was hungry though and why does the food always smell so good?
So 3 burgers £33!!!!!!!
My tip for anyone coming to gigs and what I’ll do for next ones
There’s Burger King next to Piece Hall
No brainier really just didn’t think at the time!!!!
Anyway fab night
Debbie sounded good
Nice to see Glen Matlock and love Andee Blacksugar on guitar
Gig finished
Straight yo Victorian to strip off wet layers and have a beer while waiting for crowds to ease off and Uber home.

We've discussed this before but the food court near Piece hall is your best bet IMO - Westgate Arcade.

Last time I went there was deffo security checks. The usual pat down and asked to see what's in handbags (just my lipstick if anyone was interested)

£8.50 for a burger at Caldicot Castle, it was a good one though as was the gig.

I thought Blondie didn't sound great well over 10 years ago at Guilfest so what does she sound like now?

Yeah maybe they've stepped up a gear cos when Hugh supported Blondie (about 20 years ago?) I thought they were pretty cheesey.
