Best Meal eaten in Exotic Location.

Post by Greatkudu »

This is really inspired by Hughs love of Lasagna in Mexico,so for a bit of fun it got me thinking, whats the best meal or best individual Sweet etc that you have had or can remember in an exotic location,I will start with Tiramisu in Mombasa recently at a fantastic Beach Hotel called the Severin Sea Lodge, each night there was a Smorgasbord of delights to choose from,I had Red Snapper,White Snapper,King Fish etc,but the selection of Sweets was mind blowing, each night a huge selection, but the one that stands out was Tiramisu,it blew away anything I have had in Italian restaurants,It was the best Tiramisu ever,so if your heading for Mombassa make sure you check out the Tiramisu at the Severin Sea Lodge it will make your mouth melt with the thrill of the taste buds, you may even bump in to me if your unlucky.Lt Kudu. :smt005

Nice one! Just like you, Hugh is obviously a man with good taste for Italian food. You should send him your story, perhaps Lasagna will be his next single with Tiramisù on the B side!

Me and the wife went into York last year to do some shopping. Popped in there first for some food. Next thing I know we're 3 pints in and there's a fantastic cheeseboard in front of us. Didn't get any shopping done.

About 25 years ago on honeymoon in San Diego we had Cajun chicken, steak and lobster tails. I seem to remember they were very tasty!

A balti in West Bromwich 😁. Not sure I have ever been to an exotic location ......I did have a few meals in Dubrovnik at a restaurant that overlooked what was filmed as Kings Landing set in Games of Thrones .
All quiet ..........
