The UK tours were getting too much, better to fly 11000 miles and take it easy.

But once they've flown over it's only 5 gigs. A nice little mini tour for them to enjoy combined with a visit to Aus.
Sounds nice to me and probably much less gruelling than a 20+ date UK tour.
Good for them they deserve it!

They're touring a continent 11000 miles away,as opposed to a small island.I'm not that bothered but it's just a bit contradictory.

Well they will obviously be flying first class all the way,so not as knackerering as UK tour and it's obviously a good little earner Tel.Lt kudu at the Bull and Bush, hope the native Australians get free tickets.

I doubt very much they will be flying first class. A special request from me - can they stopover in Dubai en route and play here - their last two gigs here went down a storm

To be fair. the 'no more long UK tours' was to protect Dave who's health was getting worse in recent years. Unfortunately he passed which means that JJ - fit af for his age - and the younger new boys can do long and distant tours.

Was not expecting another AUS tour at all, but ill be there. I seem to remember that Baz has relos in NZ, so that's why so many over the past few years. I would not be surprised if they announce a few NZ dates also.

Went to a solo gig of his many moons ago and his mate was there (really nice guy) and he was about to relocate to NZ if I remember
