Why would not been English mean it's not good news? Surely anyone can celebrate a good tournament, good match and the promotion of womens sport?

Sort of, but if you're from the country that lost the final (I wasn't watching, so I don't know who it was), or any of the other levels for that matter, you're probably not going to be celebrating as much as English football fans are.

Obviously, that said, if you're from another country you probably don't have Boris in charge, rising inflation and the mess that is "Brexit". I'm guessing we're referring to Germany.
