Burning up time forum...Poem

This is an appreciation poem for Jim and his forum that has been so well run for decades giving the many so much pleasure over the years.

B.U.R.N.I.N.G U.P T.I.M.E
Jim's friendly foruminblack


Jim runs his Stranglers forum
That he calls Burning up Time
Keeping order and decorum
Between opinion's and the whine.

The members post their views
On a forum that's second to none
With all the threads and latest news
Where there'll always be the sun.

Each single year that time goes by
Jim keeps it tickling along
For keeping the peace he'll always try
With fairness with right and wrong.

His Stranglers site is sectioned through
firstly of the band the Stranglers
Then of former frontman Hugh
Who gave us... Venus in Furs.

The bands in their 5th MK
Where fans will say what's best
The site will give the fans their say
Where all new topics get addressed.

There's a section devoted all to Hugh
With info and new dates
A smaller section that is true
But still as good as his former mates.

There's polls where fans can have their vote
On tracks they think is best
Or even a place to read a joke
Putting sense of humour to the test.

Jim's site has a gigography
And a section for other bands
With info and photography
To occupy the eager fans.

Fans will have their favourite
From the past up to the present
With memories and their best bit
That makes a nice read pleasant.

Moving forwards is good on site
With both camps continuation
keeping the forum intrestingly bright
For the fans infatuation.

So thank you Jim for your great site
That gives much pleasure to the most
So Keep it flying high as a kite
From you to us.........The perfect host.
