They've reconciled. I think Roland has had a tough time in his personal life recently and they felt life was too short. Their new album is pretty good.

I quite like a few of their albums. Raoul and the King's of Spain was pretty good. That was without Curt Smith.

They've been back together for ages. First reunion album was in 2004 (which has a very XTC-like song it called "Call Me Mellow") and the second reunion album was released very recently. They've always had a painfully slow work rate.

I didn't like that Everybody likes a happy ending album at all. I haven't really heard the new album yet but will give it a go.
