It's a good album,as some have said sounds like some of Diggles solo stuff in parts and traditional Buzzcocks in others,of course you miss Pete but it's as it is,I've played a few times and some really good songs, but I can't really see them doing another after this one,I don't think the interest is there, some nice Bass from Chris Remington and great drumming from the very versatile Danny Farrant,so my verdict very good in parts and some others just good.Manchester Rain very catchy, and some others very catchy and some deeper songs to about life etc, they can't write songs about French Kissing or the dislike of it now. :smt005 Lt Cmdr Kudu.

Don't think Ive seen them for over 30 years , Brixton around 89 perhaps?

Always loved the greatest hits album, but somehow blamed them for bands like Blink 182
That doesn't seem right them supporting a tribute band.
Well judging by what I saw tonight, it was the right order.

Sound was awful and Diggle thrashes around with plenty of enthusiasm but little musicality. Had a listen to the new album before the gig.
Not my thing tbh. Whereas the Buzzcocks 77-79 could do no wrong for me.

From The Jam , with Foxton on bass were as good as ever. Sadly had to leave before the end.
They key to FTJ is Russell, the singer and guitarist.
He is better at Paul Weller than Paul Weller. Saw them in the early days, as The Gift, with Buckler on drums.
Russell keeps it as authentic is can be for your average 50 something Jam fan.

And his voice wasn’t far off the Frank sidebottom comment!
Could not understand a word he said between songs either. We stood beside the sound desk. Engineer must have had earplugs in because the sound was much clearer when you put your fingers in your ears!

Singles going Steady must be one of the great new wave compilations surely?

You've said it all, from the Jam keep the sound of the Jam going, for people of a certain age and a few younger fans? As for the Buzzcocks you have put me off ever wanting to see them again, but I would if it wasn't far to travel,I think the Buzzcocks will give it up in a few years time,Diggle just hasn't got the voice for the Pete songs.Lt Kudu.

I think Diggle is ok,he lives in Highgate,so I doubt he needs the money and JJ certainly doesn't.Lt Kudu.

Those expensive houses and lifestyles cost money. If there's a paying audience they'll play

Yes of course, I would see the Buzzcocks if they played near Salisbury, they played Salisbury in 2014 and were very good, last time I saw them was supporting the Stranglers in Lessines.Lt Kudu.

Ordered me From The Jam/Buzzcocks tickets and it’s the Sat before Hugh so 2 gigs to look forward to with 3 great bands.
I’d have thought From The Jam would have been supporting Buzzcocks but it’s doesn’t really matter does it? it’ll just be great to hear those songs played loud, enjoy the night out and have a few pints of Whisky 🥃
Shush this is serious

I think I read a few years ago that Diggle has paid off the Highgate house.

He probably plays just for the glory , good luck to him. Dunno why he wants to live in London though.
