As JJ Said no one in England was interested or offered,I find that surprising as the importance of the Stranglers to UK music is vast,they still don't get the credit they deserve for the fantastic music they have created over the years and their influence on other bands,they are still the Lepers of Rock as Jet said years ago,but who gives a fuck ? Enough people love their music.Lt Kudu.

It's only important to you Kudu and a few others.

True but I remember when I worked for the Army,the radio was on and ATS was on,I said great the Stranglers and a woman who was working their said thats not the Stranglers,I said well I've been a fan since 79,she still didn't believe me,only when the DJ said Stranglers she believed me,she really liked the song and said I didn't think they produced mellow music,so the general public have a distorted view of the band,I challenge any serious music lover to listen to albums like B and W and the Raven and not be impressed by the quality,I still think the Stranglers are the most criminally undervalued band this country has ever produced.Of course IMHO,the quality of the first 9 albums still holds up today.Lt Kudu.
