Wet Leg

Post by jonimac »

I had never heard of them till they went straight in at No 1 in the albums chart last week.

I have to say that it ‘s the strongest debut I’ve heard in a long time, shades of PJ Harvey, Bjork mixed in with some surfer guitar, strong production and the catchy wit of the B52s.
Singer has an amazing voice, I guess as having been trying as a solo artist for a few years.

There are some great videos and live footage on YouTube, and they look like they are genuinely having a great time.

A real breathe of fresh Isle Of Wight air.

I quite liked their singles but found the album disappointing. I think the media overhyped them. Deffo worth checking out mind

My daughter saw them in Manchester a few days ago in only a 700 person venue. She said that only her friends were dancing. Otherwise a lot of leery old timers in the audience!
