Re: Ground control Paris
9 pages of comments, most of it the same old same old to be honest,
and not one mention of the band playing a near full set for a TV spot
and, finally, not even a sniff of GOLDEN BROWN.
You've changed. All of you.

It'd make sense if "I am the Law" was one of the early ones worked on for Dare, just because (out of all of the songs on Dare) that one in particular strikes me as something that the early Human League could have done. Even after hundreds upon hundreds of listens the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when the low bass synth comes in on the chorus. Fucking awesome. Love how clean and pristine Martin Rushent's production is on it, too.alaninblack wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 02:23 Came across a live recording a few weeks back of the League just after the split, when Phil and the girls were still singing the the old tracks, which I've heard before, but in this case also a new song that I never had heard "Take On The World" and also "I am the Law", but no other Dare material. Does include Boys and Girls though.

Yes, very true. I don't like high jacking threads as such, so final comment, but also "Get Carter" is very MKI - i think Adrian had a big influence on both those tracks.StanInBlack wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 23:29 It'd make sense if "I am the Law" was one of the early ones worked on for Dare, just because (out of all of the songs on Dare) that one in particular strikes me as something that the early Human League could have done. Re: Ground control Paris
Anyway. The gig
I have separated the audio and put it into individual tracks. Have not touched EQ or anything like that.
Jim/Stan are you ok if I upload? There is no sleeve but if a creative sort would like to make one, please do.
I must stress that this really should stay here and not get into bootleg world. Of course anyone can do it but it would be rather nice of it didn't come from here!

Re: Ground control Paris
Thanks for the offer but I'd rather we didn't as it's fresh and perhaps the band wanna do a release proper of it at some point. Obviously, if people wanna use ClipGrab or similar to download the audio from YouTube then that's their choice.
