JJ's Amp is DI into the FOH and Monitor Desk

Baz uses's Kempers Amsps which is a sampler Amp.which also is DI.

The Amps are Stage Right where the Guitar Tech is based during the show.

As all the Band have In Ear Monitoring they do not need to hear the Amps on stage.

JJ has a Tuner in front of the Drums, Baz has his on his Pedals.

Interesting, so Baz has moved to Kempers now. I presume JJ is still using his Ashdown. One advantage apart from travelling lighter without the cabs is that the sound engineer has total control. No onstage sound projection to contend with.

Perhaps that explains why the sound quality in Stoke was fantastic and not too loud.

There were some flight cases with a stack of maybe five or six "things" in them on JJs side of the stage at Hanley, presumably those are what you're talking about here Damian?

Funnily enough I was listening to someone in the audience at that gig who was saying that one a previous Stranglers tour some of the amps on stage were nothing more than a box with a power light on the front. Not sure whether that's actually true or not, seemed a bit weird to me.

They don't 'mime' they have a track that they play at the same time as they play.
