There's a chorus?

I think we all knew the female operatic bits would have to be on backing but not so much the rest. Sorry I can't see this one having a long run in the set.

So singing live to a pre-recorded backing track is fine for a rock band then?

It’s a shame that even on the record it’s so obviously a sample, if they’d hired in even a music student learning opera it could have sounded better imho.

No of course not, but the drums, guitar are live and the main vocals, as I keep saying Louie added all the extra production which means they have to use backing, of course they could have got a live Opera singer in? Which would have been good, but I can live with one song like this, and the band and audience seen to enjoy it, and whats wrong with that, I have more of a problem with the cruising gig, a bit sad to be honest and out of the price range of most fans? Carry on Crusing the film yes but not the Stranglers. Lt Cmdr kudu on land and staying on land. :smt005

(JJ at 1.12 is like wtf )
My word! That's the worst song and performance by the group that I have ever seen. The audience look bemused. Shocking vocals and even though it is a short song it just drags. Mk11 Res Ipsa Loquitor.

Just to add I don't mind Paul. Thought he did a great job (same for John) but that song should never have happened

Now that's a question I would love to ask JJ but would probably end up debagged and tied to Salisbury Cathedral Spire :smt005 Jet looks so bored, I'm mystified why they ever did this cover version? It should be cancelled as youngsters say in the modern day, wicked innit you vats appenin, see I can do the modern way if I try :smt005 god I'm on a roll today, blame the pills I had to take after watching the dire Summer in the City Clip. Lt General Kudu on 24hr duties. :smt013

It's pure fucking comedy, innit? and I say this as someone who doesn't actually mind PR's voice or even his stage presence.
