Someone tried to pull my girlfriend at a Killing Joke gig , right in front of me .............it was another woman . I think we were both gobsmacked .
She didn't like KJ much , too loud , she still likes The Stranglers though . Nothing to do with the above though .
All quiet ..........

I do see alot of unhappy women dragged along by their boyfriends at Stranglers gigs, I mean taken to the gig, if someone isn't enjoying it, it ruins the gig, my ex girlfriend ruined so many gigs for me, at Manchester Academy in 2011,she pushed me as I was ignoring her and watching the band, I hit into a woman and nearly knocked her teeth out as I'm a rather tall chap and strong, I had her boyfriend wanting to do something to my girlfriend in a violent way, so I escorted my girlfriend out of the venue and gave her a dressing down, the gig was great but I always remember how she ruined it. But she said she wanted to go to share my interest, but she wasn't a music person.Lt Kudu.

It's always tricky inviting someone to a Stranglers gig if they aren't a real fan. There's always a good chance they are going to slightly ruin it for you!

It's common sense isn't it - if you don't know them well enough to know then it's going to be a bad idea.

I'm lucky that all my girlfriends have been real music-heads - although one did punish me by refusing to see Magazine

That’s grim hearing about men feeling up women in gigs, decent blokes would call this shit out, and I don’t know sort the culprit out by whatever means necessary. I’ve attended gigs with a girlfriend, she loved Hugh solo, he also took a shine to her, but she absolutely hated Baz, was actually angry and sickened by him ruining Always the Sun for her and wanted to leave at that point, and has consequently written off the stranglers Post Hugh altogether.

There’s literally no point in going to gigs where one of the pair is not into the music, it does tend to really ruin things, don’t drag someone along to a gig, go with someone who wants to go or is at least interested enough. I very rarely go to gigs these days anyway, I find groping assholes are one of a plethora of problems with gig going. The last few gigs I have attended there seems to be this trend towards chatting really loudly throughout the gig, fucking irritates the hell out of me and it’s caused a few cross words
