Love JJ"s reflective lyrics on Lines and Down. Baz has come into his own on this album. Superb vocal delivery. And his songs are the best imho. Love the album. Peace out x

I assumed Baz wrote lines?
If not, what did he write?

I think it’s JJ music and joint lyrics (based upon what they say here)alaninblack wrote: ↑13 Jan 2022, 23:32As I understand JJ did. It references his life and note the use of the "french" papa... I think he said that Baz just sings it better.

Agree, still loving this album and listening regularly, it’s immediate appeal hasn’t faded at all. My favourites are No Man’s Land (which I think will be great live) and Breathe, but I think the album is another Stranglers masterpiece.Grayo Matters! wrote: ↑13 Jan 2022, 18:15 Well I'm still listening to it. Haven't listened to it since pre Xmas I guess . Don't know why , just haven't bothered . Still think it's good but with some filler stuff , the 3 I don't like much, but I also know some like Breathe , Lines and Down .
All quiet ..........

U know its good when u constantly change ur favs tracks really love this album
Re: Dark Matters - Second Thoughts
It's certainly a really good album, I'm still enjoying it after quite a long time after release, I think Baz is doing some great under stated Guitar parts, he dominated a bit to much on Giants IMHO. Lt Kudu.

I still haven't bothered with it for far longer than that.

Re: Dark Matters - Second Thoughts
I’m hoping by some miracle we will get more releases of other new songs soon even if it’s not enough for a whole album if not that it’s got to be some solo material from jj I still cannot get into Dark Matters I’m totally indifferent to it
