Nicky Wire's new one landed today - much better than his previous one. The 2 jazz tracks are plainly weird mind!

The Manics - great singles band for me.

I have a couple of albums - I love the Holy Bible. Played it yesterday as it happens.

Everything must go was ok for the time but then they went a bit "stylised" for me.
Masses against the classes was superb - so, recommendations please, for Manics along that vein. Heads down punky rather that the Orchestral stuff (which I don't mind but y'know).

Thanks in advance!

If you like the Holy Bible then you'll like Journal For Plague Lovers which is "Holy Bible 2" really as it uses songs that were written at the time and the band replicate (to good effect IMO) the sound.
