Single track out today, new album out 3rd of Sepetmber. Did they coordinate the release date with The Stranglers management
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smImSentyaI - rate the new Stranglers track higher than The Manic St Preachers one.

This is their 14th album apparently! So they are catching up with the Stranglers! A good single but I prefer the Stranglers one.

29 years on from Rattus, The Stranglers were putting out Suite XVI. The Manics never put out a run of records that were as sub-par as The Stranglers '90s albums, so it's fair to say they're outclassing them even at this stage.

I really like the Manics but I don't return to their albums as much as the Stranglers.StanInBlack wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 10:4329 years on from Rattus, The Stranglers were putting out Suite XVI. Always loved the Manics since Generation Terrorists although not bought the last 3 or 4 albums, yet. Jeez Generation Terrorists nearly 30 years ago already.
I also really admired their cover version of Duchess.
