Old chocolate bars or sweets
I remember in the 70s a chocolate bar called "Big One"
It was a bit noughatty and was in a purple wrapper.
The advert tagline was Big one sticks out a mile!!!! And you got a badge that said Ive got a big one.
Nobody I've ever spoken to remembers it.
Think they lasted about 3 weeks.
Any others?

I don't remember that? No doubt the marketing gave a significant nod to Carry On humour :D
What about Konks & Robbers? Again, 1970s, kind of like a Freddo chocolate bar with a different comic character on each one - all of them had big noses (hence the konks...)
Having looked them up recently I was amused to find one of the characters looks like Shaun Ryder :D

Remember the Fuse bar in the late 90s? Much missed.

I remember it, and thought I was the only person that did. Was the TV advert 'cowboys and indians style'? With regards 'Big one' .... wasn't someone hiding behind a rock eating i and gave his position away?Halifax Linda wrote: ↑20 Jul 2020, 17:39 I remember in the 70s a chocolate bar called "Big One"

A couple I remember from long ago, that I don't think exist anymore are
Pink Panther bar (pink strawberry flavoured chocolate)
Not sure of its actual name but it was a small pouch of edible sweet tobacco, I think it tasted of coconut lol.

Remarkably, I used to buy the Pink Panther bar occasionally as it had the cool Pink Panther car on the wrapper - I actually loathed the pink chocolate!

Wham bars - a slab of nuget that would take your fillings out no probs. Surprised they stopped making them cos i think they had the strongest bonding agent on the planet with those.
