I did fleetingly consider reading Victor Hugo's Les Misérables next but need a break from long book reading. After the 40 page chapter describing the view of 15th century Paris from the top of the cathedral in his Notre Dame de Paris you just know there are treats in store in something longer... That's a thread for everyone to look forward to in the future.
