Got this about 5 or 6 years ago, at first thought it was some cheapo rush rip off release but quite enjoy listening to it.

Always liked the Damned in early days, loved the Black Album and thought Strawberries was the best thing they ever did. Then the missis fell in love with Dave Vanian after she'd seen them on TOTPs doing Grimly Fiendish so then I was dragged around on the next couple of tours (Phantasmogoria/Anything) so 'Fiendish Shadows' brings back good memories of that particular era.

Remember also going to Salford Uni when they were promoting the 'Light at the End of The Tunnel' collection and the aforementioned Dave Vanian was a right old porker, reckon he'd been living the good life after making a few quid of the 'Eloise'. In fact that was the last time I saw the Damned which must have been around 1990ish.

Gutted to see that Bryn Merrick (Bass on the Grimly Era) passed away the other day. Throat cancer.
