Geordie uses some great chords but when he accented parts through picking, like on Night tIme or Brighter, he shone.
There was a glimmer of hope on the newer recordings.
Yep, far too talented to restrict himself to chugging menacingly though that's another thing he has in the locker.

I think they should try and a really melodic album one day. Along the lines of My love of this land.

That was Outside the Gate and I don't think they should go back there. My love of this Land is a nice track but a bit syrupy.

I'd like to see more Extremities style stuff. Thats was a great period for them

They'll never do it. It would upset too many people! Great track though. As long as they don't lose that melodic element completely they'll still be good.

I bought all their albums up to Night Time last year but I've not played then much yet.

I think this is astonishing. One of the greatest tracks I've ever heard by anyone.

Extremities was a great album, it’s one of their best, certainly one of their best heavier records, Pylon and MMXII are pretty boring albums because they’re repeating this heavy formula, it sounds tired and by numbers to me. I absolutely loved Absolute Dissent, it’s one of their best, Hossanna is a superb album too, and that’s very heavy. I do like the heavy joke, but I do kind of miss some of there more subdued moments like on Nighttime and Brighter, Outside the Gate I rarely listen to, it doesn’t feel like a Killing Joke album, but yeah it would be nice if KJ attempted to do something with a bit of variance and subtlety, that’s why I preferred Jaz’s orchestral Killing Joke album to the last couple of studio releases.

JUST A HEADS UP THAT THE VINYL VERSION OF LORD OF CHAOS EP IS OUT THIS WEEK!

Oops. Shouting!

You can buy it here from a bloke called Tony who has lots of punk stuff for sale. Very reliable!

Possibly better than supporting Alice Cooper or UB40 though!
