What does everyone think of them smashing up their instruments at the end?

Back in my day 2 swings and any decent rock star had his instrument in splinters,
kids today etc.

It's just pointless and a waste of a good guitar and bass.

In "fairness", and not wanting to come over all John Hiatt,
it was just the bass wern't it? The bloke in the dress
wasn't hard enough to do it and the singer had a go and couldnt
quite manage it neither.

I was at Southampton. I thought Southampton was great, but Cardiff Castle not so great. Wish the BBC would of just played all of "The Holy Bible". They left out the best songs on the album!, i dont know why, perhaps they thought they werent suitable for Television Viewing!. But it was 11pm!. I doubt many viewers would of been offended by "Archives of Pain" or "The intense Humming of Evil".

Im only 7 Manics gigs in to my manic gig Carrer and i know the order of the evening, Nicky has to let all his anger out somehow. or he will "f*cking explode" as he says.

I had it on, and although I wasn't concentrating on it, my thought was that if I was there I would have been bored out of my brain. There was nothing there for me (though i don't like outdoor gigs much in general anyway). Knew the hits in the second half but think my Manics experience can stay and end in the pubs on rugby international day !
