Just a quick one for advice.
Mrs H and kids are now joining in for the trip to Manchester for the weekend so have cancelled the hotel I had thought of. Just me doing the gig so I have been looking at Premier Inn type hotels with family rooms. Found one at Deansgate and one in Bishopsgate. Deansgate looks closer and sort of walking distance. Any help would be great but want to book in the next 48hrs.
Cheers Guys!

Manchester Hotel - family room recommendation?
Woke up on a good day and the world was wonderful. A midnight summer dream had me in its spell
Re: Manchester Hotel - family room recommendation?
I know several people have had trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel for the Manchester gig, and that some places are now refusing bookings of less than two nights, so if you've found one with a vacancy I'd book it ASAP!
Pending any response from anyone who knows Manchester better than I do I'd say choice depends on what else you want from your stay. I think Deansgate is on outskirts (near Old Trafford?) but Bishopsgate is more central. There are plenty of buses between town centre and venue for both before and after gig but it is walkable I think (useful website for distances is www.walkit.com). Good luck with booking; hope to meet you there!

Or stay further out and use Metrolink?

Might be easier if taking the car as well?
