Another great review there Freddie!

Only time I ever saw Big Country was in 1993 when Hugh Cornwell was supporting them. They were good but I never really got into them in a big way. Of course when I read such enthusiastic reviews like yours I feel like I've missed out.

Cheers for reporting back. 8)

Thats available for download on the Big Box of Tapes site, along with another couple.

Fairly average pic taken on my phone - one day I might actually take a camera to a gig and snap something of better quality.

Just noticed that tickets go on sale for the Nottingham April gig tomorrow . As they are a reasonable £20 and the gig is on a Saturday night I might give Big Country another listen. Any decent compilations out there to get me in the mood?

Probably better ones, and you'll have the Skids stuff already, but this is the one I've got:

'Through a Big Country' is probably the best, got all their early stuff on it.
