This only applies to people using Eircom which i believe is still government owned. But there is many diff providers of the net in Ireland.
Europe copied us with no smoking in pubs and everyone laughed. Will Europe laugh at this venture.
I think this a waste of time to be honest the musicians of today have to get to grips with the world we live in. These days its best to give it away and if they like it they come and see you live.Your never stop this file sharing.

The keyword here is 'Ireland.'

Their crackdown on piracy probably means they'll target kids with Captain Pugwash DVD's and pensioners who are fond of Johnny Kidd and the Pirates.

Mick, in this instance the Irish government are following the french and the british (digital econmy bill), in adopting a a draconian and ultimately futile approach to file sharing.

Aural Scripture, I think all this recent 80´s nostalgia is going to your head. Who´s your favourite comedian? Stan Boardman.
Oh the bliss, oh the pleasure caressing your ears.

Even in the 80's, discussing their longstanding practice of allowing fans to tape and trade their shows, latter-period Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow remarked that the best marketing tool is to give the product away.
