looks like there'll be a good forum turnout which is bit unusual for a toon gig.

Hi,

New to forum and was wondering if anyone can recommend a hotel to say in Newcastle coming down from Edinburgh and looking for somewhere preferrably near the venue .

Many thanks.

There are numerous hotels in the city centre, it all depends on how much you want to pay. About 5 minutes from the venue is a Holiday Express on St James' Boulevard, and straight outside the central station are a couple of hotels but they will be a bit pricey- the County and the Station hotel-probably close to a 100 quid a night. If you are coming by train the station is less than 2 mins away from the venue.
