Got back @4:40 this morning after a totally knackering but thoroughly enjoyable two gig weekend. Was good to meet up with various forum members again both at Rockers & Whistle Binkies.
Funniest sight of the weekend was probably Frank Castle and Alias kipping top to toe in a single bed (Funny but definitely not pretty).
The band were on top form again and as is stated elsewhere they are becoming more and more accomplished with each gig.
Things are certainly building up well for the H & A gig LETS 'AVE IT!!

I'm tired out running for those last trains home, never mind carting equipment, playing gigs and drinking
Great to see the guys up in Scotchland again, last night was brilliant.
Here's a few photos of the Soundcheck:
Bubba
Mick
Bubba again!
Bubba & Mick.
Casey'Pitch Black'
Shaggy.
Fatbusjim looking surprisingly 'Fresh'
Phil & Fatbusjim.
In the process of transferring the Video to DVDRam as I type .
A couple of days of post production editing and it might be ready before I go back offshore.
Video looks Ok althought the sound is a bit 'muddy', cheapo Sony Camcorder and standing too close to the Amps
Hopefully I've managed to capture all the 'characters' who appeared on the night
Especially Shaggys 'Man in a hat' and the female 'Freeform' dancer at the front

First time i had seen SO live, they were superb and well worth the trip to see.
Great to hear Toiler, Peasant, Curfew, etc and a great version of Sewer to end it all.
Hopefully they will come back to Bonnie Scotland again next year.
Good to meet up with Don and Toiler.
One song i would love to hear live is School Mam, cannot remember the last time i heard it played live.
Any chance of SO considering it for the future?
Cheers
John

Yeah, the gig was great. And the audience was at least as entertaining as the band. You'll see what I mean when Toiler puts up the videos. Will add some more comments then.
I've really missed seeing 4MH (five years since they last played here, hard to believe it's that long ago). So it was fantastic to see Straighten Out, who carry on the great work that Jon and the boys began. Nice to meet FBJ and Phil, who had to use their bouncing skills wisely... cos the odd nutter had been allowed out for the night. (check the vids). Great to say hello again to Mick, and boy do we appreciate hearing his authentic sounds on The Raven, Toiler and Sewer. Curfew was also a blinder, and loved the rest of the early days set. Hard to beat that kind of entertainment, and even better, it was a FREE gig.
Big thanks to the band, "bouncers" and supporters for making the long trip North. See you back in Whistle Binkies next year.
