Anyone know the name of the font used to create the Stranglers logo?

Sparrow's own or Brodie D I think it's called mate.

Be warned though, you'll have to do some work with it, such as squeezing it together and the like to get that authentic Stranglers' feel.

Have you ever noticed how it's slighty changed over the years?. If you study one from the 80s to now you will see it is different. The red font is now Red & white,& it is shrunken down to stretched like it was in the 80s. I always thought they needed to get rid of THE part in the 90s.

It used to be free, didn't it? It used to be part of aol's font selection and no longer is.

Aye it's deffo 'Brody', I have it but think it's Mac OS9 only though, I could do with an Mac OSX version.
