Fantastic - it's going to be a great night. 8) 8) 8)
Do we need to book tickets for Rockers or is it a pay-on-the-door job ?

If anyone's looking for hotels, Jury's Inn have twin rooms available for £69, and I'm sure Frank will correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears to be almost next door to Rockers.
There are a few slightly cheaper options further away, but by the time you add in the cost/hassle of a late night cab ride versus a quick stagger up the road, this looks reasonable value. 8)

Pay on the door has been fine for any of the gigs I've been to there, but who knows - if half the Stranglers gig crowd decide to prolong the inevitable and turn up at Rockers then it would deffo sell the place out, easy.

The Rockers website says this :

"1 Nov Jamie Barnes & Cochise / Demons Eye / The Fakes".
"Madame, Be in no doubt as to the seriousness of your position". The Day of the Jackal, 1973.

Will text Bubba to get this clarified Paul,I think Rockers have the wrong information.....would'nt be the first time!

Or if Bubba is reading this thread,he may shed some light on it.

I tried registering on the Rockers forum to find out for sure, but it appears to be a bit fucked at the moment....

You got the Tour Guide uniforms sorted yet Frank?
You going for the full gold epaulets, peaked cap and pointy stick look, or the more informal "JockInBlack" T-shirt?

Not sure, they seem to have him playing most weekends

If them Rockers know what's good for them they'll confirm Straighten Out for the 1st asap- it'll be a sell out, and a busy bar for them.
