The Clash's Celia?

Post by Alias »

From "Passion Is A Fashion- The Real Story of The Clash" by Pat Gilbert,

"At the end of July (1980), they helped out on Spirit of St. Louis, a solo album by Mick's girlfriend Ellen Foley. The record, released the following year by CBS, is a Clash album in all but name and singer...The Clash play on all the backing tracks. Seven of the thirteen songs are Strummer-Jones originals, including the superlative "The Stuttered Palace" and "The Death of the Psychoanalyst of Salvidor Dali". In retrospect, both of these would have been far better used on Sandanisa!"

Sounds intriguing- any one got it?

First I heard of it was in this book - which is great. Bet it's worth a few bob.
if your breasts are too big you'll fall over. Unless, of course, you wear a rucksack.
