Killing Joke did a similar thing.

Took the vinyl bootlegs out there and made a collection.

There are a lot of rather questionable releases out there and it's a great way of getting at least something!

Mind you, Live Joy Division. I an Curtis' voice was a bit hit and miss. Not sure I could stand much!

Wire did something similar also. Unsure whether I wanna pay for some live recording unless it's crystal clear soundboard or similar. I guess this is why Stranglers don't go down this route.
