Just back from Bristol. Fucking insane.
Swore I wouldn't hit the mosh pit but good old Gizzard talked me into it after about ten seconds of the first track (suspect device)
The place was heaving and the band were loving it.
My ears are ringing and I'm hitting the whisky to try and come down.
Great night.

Nice - will probably go along and see them at some point. The setlist looks pretty tasty

Been a while since I've seen them, dunno why as they're always great live.

I've only seen them once in 2022 at the Stone Valley festival. They're ok..I never really got into their material but a good live band to see from that era..

I don't know their music either, but I went to see them a couple of times when I had a local venue in walking distance and enjoyed both gigs a lot, and even recognised a couple of songs.aldinblack wrote: ↑20 Mar 2024, 10:26 I've only seen them once in 2022 at the Stone Valley festival. Re: SLF 2024 Tour
Can't go wrong with their original first set of albums. When they reformed the first couple of albums sound more like Guns And Roses than SLF (my opinion of course) but recently they seem to have the balance right. Seen em live about 10 times over the years and I've never seen a duff gig.

Saw them in Leeds tonight. So so good. Better than I saw them 10 years ago. Jake Burns in fine fettle both guitar and vocals

Indeed, t’was a great gig in Leeds last night. Not seen em for a while and they were far more impressive than the last time I saw them when they played The Message (Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five) that was not my cup of tea at all back then and I certainly didn’t want to hear SLF playing it either.theraven1979 wrote: ↑22 Mar 2024, 00:32 Saw them in Leeds tonight.
