They wouldn't be going if it wasn't worth it. Sure, they won't be getting massive amounts, but it won't be £50 and a plate of sandwiches.
Ha ha yes of course !
Maybe looking to gain new American audiences as well if that is what might be of interest to them ? I would do anything for a plate of sandwiches right now that sounds perfect

Gotta be a fair wedge to take gear, crew etc over there. I bet there's no other dates cos a normal gig probably wouldn't cover it

I would go for Tolhurst & Budgie who released the best album of this year

Around 70,000 people attend, at a starting price of $200 a ticket, plus fees theyll charge vendors.

Theyll be paying the bands well.

A very interesting and different album indeed. Never saw those two as writers in their own right but a really good collaboration and a good album it turns out.
Thanks for the heads up i am listening to and enjoying this now.

This is a poster, not the itinerary, cannot predict when the stranglers will be on and before or after whom.

True but you gotta base your poster on some loose notion of the actual lineup.

Of course. It's just not that big a suprise the stranglers are 'somewhere in the middle', some of the other names above (Blondie, Adam A., Duran) are just way more popular in the US of A.
