One of the first bands I got into as a kid ie buying albums. Their first 3 albums were great IMO.
A sad loss indeed, another one from our era to go, not especially old either...

Revisiting the back catalogue today. I think the biggest problem I have with these guys is they're more Americana than punk rock. Songs like "She's So Modern" sounds like it coulda been on the Grease soundtrack.

A good observation. I always thought that the first album had more than a hint of Bruce Springsteen!
