Recently saw Nick Mason's saucerful of secrets. They were very good.
Cool. They're on my list to go see. Very interesting set lists.
I'm sure most of the original Stranglers were fans of some of their music
Not sure if they were fans but they cannot have escaped hearing them a lot. Those records were everywhere in the seventies.

Got the new 5.1 of the Dark Side Of The Moon.
A total joy to listen to tracks that I thought I knew so well.

Leaving side the usual novelty of surround sound, the instruments sounds so clear and warm, particularly Gilmour’s guitar, and the low sub of Wright’s keyboards.

Even a track like Money, which I’ve always found a bit irritating due to the baseline, highlights Gilmour’s guitar work, the tone in particular.
Makes the solos absolutely take off - and I’m not really a guitar solo kind of listener.

Only heard a couple of tracks so far.
Sounds a bit grim if I’m honest but I do need to listen to it all
