Re: Baz's side project - WINGMEN
I really like the sound of this and have now pre ordered.
Might go to to London gig too. As someone else mentioned, they will have to supplement their album songs with covers!
Amazing really...although they are known and established individually, they are an unknown quantity as a band..and have managed to release an album supported with a mini tour! They / their management must have confidence in shifting sufficient units and tickets!

There must be something up here that would do,unless they were only looking at glasgow/edinburghdroopsnoot wrote: ↑22 Nov 2022, 09:06There was a note on FB about them not being able to get a suitably-sized venue in Scotland to tie in with the rest of the tour.

Album released on Spotify today. Much better than I expected. Better than Dark Matters. Can't wait to see them live.
Re: Baz's side project - WINGMEN
Wow that's a nice surprise!
Re: Baz's side project - WINGMEN
Has this been released on Spotify a month early?

Strange people have to wait for the CD. Just playing it now and it sounds quite good!RetroRocket wrote: ↑31 Dec 2022, 10:48It's on Amazon Music Unlimited too!
Maybe it's just the CD that's released next month?

Quite qood this album, yes. Reminds a bit at Madness.
Re: Baz's side project - WINGMEN
Yes the early streaming was to allow people to hear the songs prior to the tour. It sounds like it's touch and go whether they will break even.

That makes sense. I've streamed twice now and quite enjoying it
Yes...the number of folk that this will appeal to will be quite small. I was quite surprised that they have taken a punt on s tour. I'm going to see them in London, intrigued about what they might play to make a full set!
