Macca was amazing,2 hrs 40 mins set,his voice was pretty good for 80 and great backing band,as for the rest of Glastonbury,a middle class blonde girl with Bra and silly hat on boyfriends shoulder doing walk like an Egyptian hand movements while filming herself and drinking beer at the same time.Lt Kudu.

Re: Glastonbury 2022
I think PSB come across well as they accentuate the bangers basically. They've all those hits and they hammer home the melodies with great affect. Bit of a Spinal Tap moment last night though with the keyboardist trapped behind the screen
We're fast running out of "legends" for the Sunday night slot unfortunately.

Re: Glastonbury 2022
I think not. I was racking my brain trying to think of who could do it. You need a band that appeals to young and old and not in a cult way either.

Yes I know was just hoping, but Stranglers and Hugh never had mass appeal apart from GB.Lt Kudu.theraven1979 wrote: ↑27 Jun 2022, 13:42 I think not. I was racking my brain trying to think of who could do it. You need a band that appeals to young and old and not in a cult way either.

They'll try to tempt kate bush, but I don't know if she would. Could be someone like the kinks, Bryan ferry, rod Stewart or even elton John. If they could round up enough of them, the spice girls.

Re: Glastonbury 2022
Paul in good voice, but that clip just sums up why I would never go to Glastonbury,I don't have the fancy dress or bad dancing vibe,o doubt any of those odd looking people in silly hats and dodgy clothes knew who Paul Roberts was.A bit sad really seeing Paul reduced to that, but he seems like he's having fun.I think he has found his niche as a crooner.Lt Kudu.
