Yeah, it's an excellent record. Every time I listen to it, I'm always amazed at how they went from that to how they eventually ended up. Reel to Real Cacophony is my other go-to record of theirs.aldinblack wrote: ↑02 Apr 2022, 18:24Brilliant album, my favourite album of theirs and would probably make my all time favourite album list, if I was ever bothered to do such a thing..StanInBlack wrote:

Indeed
Much Cornwellian/Nosferatuish angularisations present.

Just from the "the following tone is a reference tone" you know it's gonna be cool as fuck.

Played a bit of Black Celebration last night by Depeche Mode. I think that's my favourite album of theirs.

Mine too, good choice.

Yes some great stuff on that album. I hope they can carry on without Andy Fletcher.

Black Celebration is probably my favourite album of theirs too, but they were on fire from 1984 to roughly 1998. As for them carrying on without Fletch? There's no reason why they couldn't, but I hope they don't.jason wrote: ↑17 Jul 2022, 21:23Yes some great stuff on that album. I hope they can carry on without Andy Fletcher.
