Acquired the brand new repressing of “Mummer”. Don’t really like the alternative sleeve artwork, but musically, lyrically it’s a very fine album. A very good repressing, excellent sound quality, excellent quality vinyl, and interestingly proclaiming to be pressed in England. I rate Mummer higher than quite a lot of XTC albums, one of their best imho

I've been checking some of the Steven Wilson remixes. Wow is all I can say.
Also I'm getting through some of the XTC material that's been a grey area bar a dozen or so tracks from Big Express onwards (Oranges & Lemons I already knew). Some great material. Some of it takes time to appreciate like the 'Apple Venus' stuff. I tend to prefer the pastoral, orchestral approach they acquired later on.

I got all the blu rays just cos they are so good. If you've not heard Nonsuch you're in for a treat
