At the risk of sounding like a complete anorak (and In case you weren't aware) the locomotive shown in the footage (BR class 66) was built at the Electro-Motive Diesel plant in London, Ontario, Canada - not a million miles away from your stated location.

Very cool!

Sad they closed down the plant a few years ago. I never saw it. Would have been interesting to take a tour (if that even was a possibility.)
