Funny in a way that we're debating this on a Stranglers forum
At the end of the day you pays your money you takes your choice. IF Buzzcocks continued with something viable (I mentioned Devoto fronting it but it sounds like Diggle is doing it) then I'd probably give it a shot if I'm honest. If it's Diggle and some unknowns who fancy a punt then I'd probably give it a wide bearth

After witnessing the two Back to Front shows I’d say there is no love lost between Devoto and Diggle.
We’ll just have to wait and see won’t we.

I witnessed Manchester on that tour and Diggle was certainly refreshed and excited by the whole thing.noiseannoys wrote:After witnessing the two Back to Front shows I’d say there is no love lost between Devoto and Diggle.

Maher wasn't impressed by Diggle's behaviour in Manchester, and I thought he was showboating a tad too much as well. I've seen better Buzzcock performances than that one.theraven1979 wrote:I witnessed Manchester on that tour and Diggle was certainly refreshed and excited by the whole thing.noiseannoys wrote:After witnessing the two Back to Front shows I’d say there is no love lost between Devoto and Diggle.

Re: RIP Pete Shelley
I've seen Buzzcocks many times live and what's always pissed me off is the sound mix. It's just a wave of distorted guitar. I suppose it's a case of what do I expect but you'd think they'd be able to mix it a bit better.

Re: RIP Pete Shelley
I saw a Youtube clip of a gig where the original Buzzcocks played a few songs ( Devoto singing ) , then after that it was Buzzcocks without , which Diggle referred to as the REAL Buzzcocks , so I guess there isn't much love lost ....maybe its the same thing that you've seen , but it does appear that way .noiseannoys wrote: ↑05 Mar 2019, 23:27 After witnessing the two Back to Front shows I’d say there is no love lost between Devoto and Diggle.
