Re: Level Crossings.
Whilst at The Stranglers in Ramsbottom most recent festival, they played opposite a Level Crossing, i took a few snaps.
Re: Level Crossings.
I'm always amazed that some people try to "jump" them when the lights are flashing an the bells are clanging. Pretty sure there is a plan to replace them with tunnels an bridges.

Re: Level Crossings.
There's no room for tunnels or bridges around my local station. The cost would be prohibitive for most areas.

Ya see? That's the problem with public transport, it all sounds great in theory.

Re: Level Crossings.
I'm amazed that anyone would be stupid enough to do that. Can any of these people not picture the effect of hundreds, if not thousands, of tons of train hitting the side of their car? And they've always got an excuse, assuming they live to provide it.
A mate of mine is obsessed with moaning about how long he has to wait at level crossings, as there's one between his home and the pub we meet up in. He won't come at a different time, or go a slightly different route, just thinks that it should be replaced with a bridge.

Re: Level Crossings.
People who jump level crossings are probably similar to my lass who claims that when she is at height, say a cliff or any similar precipice, experiences an irrational urge to throw herself off.Thankfully she has always resisted.Maybe she's just tired of putting up with me.

When Dennis isn't doing that he's usually up to his balls in hookers and coked off his nut.
